CHESS SCHOOL – DECEMBER 2019, FLORENCE

The school is focused on the spectroscopic and morphological characterization of surfaces and solid interfaces of any possible composition.

A number of instrumental techniques is presented by experts in the field. The first two days provide an overview of the most diffused spectroscopies and microscopies for surface analysis. The third and fourth days introduce synchrotron facilities and related spectroscopies. Special attention is paid at encouraging non expert users to apply for having access to synchrotron spectroscopies / beam-lines. The last day of the school is mostly devoted to spatially resolved microscopies and spectroscopies.

Venue:

Villa La Stella, Via Iacopone da Todi, 12 – 50133 Florence
